All Souls Mass and Memorial Service

Our All Souls Mass and Memorial Service will be Thursday, November 2. If you have someone who died since last November 2 that you would like to remember with a large candle, please contact Cathy Carr by October 23. Don't assume we have your loved one's name - please check with Cathy to be sure.

Food Pantry
To support the Dunbar Ministerial Association's Food Pantry, please bring beans on Sunday, October 22. Thank you for caring for those in need.

Craft Fair
The Craft Fair will be Saturday, October 21, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Both crafters and vendors will set up shop to sell their wares. We will raffle a Kindle Fire, porcelain plates, and a WV gourmet food basket. Each vendor will donate a door prize. Sausage biscuits, hot dogs, beans & cornbread, and cookies will be sold. Come and shop (for Christmas?) and eat.

Annual Spaghetti Dinner
Sunday, November 5, will be our annual Spaghetti Dinner from noon to 6:00 pm. We will need help from everyone to make this fund raiser a success. Sign up to work a shift or see Beth or Tom White to see how your talents can best be used. We also need baked goods and workers for the bake sale, so plan to help.

All weekday Masses are cancelled during Father Thomas's vacation.

Christ the King News

Christ the King 75th Anniversary

Christ the King is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. On November 26, we will celebrate Christ the King Sunday, as well as our anniversary. There will be a meeting to plan both of these this coming Tuesday, October 17 at 6:30 pm in the Family Room. If you are interested in planning this event, please try to attend. For further information, call, text or email Val Nesser.

Envelopes for All Souls Mass
There are envelopes in your contribution boxes to remember your loved ones at our All Souls Mass. There are additional envelopes on the table in the Gathering Space. Please fill one out and put it in the collection baskets each Sunday. Last Sunday to do so is October 29.
